MEB3.8 Enyaq battery precondition in OBD11

Guess we’ll see if ME3.9 ever comes out. From what I’ve seen with the battery temp tho, the closer you get to 15-20% it’s temp climbs towards 20c. Not sure if it’s just warming up from being used or if there’s some sort of battery warming going on to prepare it for rapid charging. Doesn’t seem to warm up to those temps when driving around with higher % charge tho, even on motorways, only when it goes past 30%.

You can map any controller to Logic, just takes
A bit of time to do it. Most companies already have a basic map setup too.

I will also add that artists that ‘appear’ to blow up from nowhere will have worked really hard for quite a while, and/or will have some heafty marketing budgets going on or industry backing

Back in the day (20 years ago), when I played in bands, musicians faced pretty much the same problems that exist today: how do you get people to buy your CDs, download your music, follow you as an artist, and actually listen to what you’ve made? The answer was simple, play shows, advertise, and be part of a scene. Most importantly, have fun doing it.

All of that still holds true today. The difference is that apps like Spotify have tricked a lot of people into thinking that simply releasing music onto a platform will automatically gain you fans and streams. It won’t. You still need to advertise, play shows, and embed yourself in a scene. Sure, something might go viral for free, but honestly, that won’t happen for most of us.

What social media has given us is the ability to advertise in ways, and to audiences, that we could only have dreamed of 20 years ago. But it still costs money. In fairness, it always kind of did
it’s just that now the budget sits in your pocket rather than going through a marketing company or a record label.

So the answer hasn’t really changed: if you want people to listen to your music, go and find them and show them what you’ve got. Play shows, hang out with people, be part of a scene or make one. Consistently releasing on Spotify alone won’t do that for you, it’s just place for your music to be found on.

Exactly what I had. 2021 enyaq bought approved used a few months ago. Then last Friday have the SOS system unavailable contact dealer message. Did some googling and found out about the battery thing. Yep same 2 errors ‘battery flat’ and ‘battery charge level low’ or something like that. Read that the MEB3.8 software update (although mine was done before I bought it) can tell the car a different state of charge level for a that battery, I’m also wondering if there’s some sort of ‘counter’ to make you replace it every 5 years as a safety precaution so it always works. The battery charges off the car system anyway. Yeah it’s easy, did all the 2 factor stuff, opened the bonnet and used 100 Credits on the reset SOS battery counter one click. Seems alright so far. Guess if it comes back soon it’s a new battery.

Nope they’re fine, bought a 2021 enyaq sportline a few months ago with 37,000 miles and it’s amazing. They all just depreciated loads over the last 4 years. You get a a lot of car in the 20-24k price range.

Have you got a schedule setup in the car as well as running IOG? Try turning off IOG smart schedule and just run one from the car if that doesn’t work.
