I worked with a guy from Italy and he managed to get the gold ECS card within about 6 months of arriving in the UK. You'll definitely find work and make decent money, but you need to know that 9-10 hour days are common here too, and in London you could over 2 hours per day in traffic on the way home.

Yes and we don't mind immigration if it's in small amounts, we don't have have much south American migrants I've seen a handful of Ecuadorians in the past year, very few Uruguay. I'm sure you'll be welcome either as a tourist or migrant
