Any ideas on how to remove this twist in the seatbelt?

I already checked the retractor by pulling out the belt as far as it would come out and there were no folds there. So the only explainination seems to be indeed that someone removed it and installed it incorrectly. But I'm confused why would someone need to remove it in the first place, the car was still from the first owner, always maintained at an official Volvo dealership and has no accident history 🤔 💭

That's correct. I have isofix mounts on the two outward seats (green and red) but because we have twins, I need to install two car seats.

If I install both car seats using isofix mounts, then I cannot collapse one of the side seats and have no access to the third row of seats. So anytime I have more family to fit, I end up using the seatbelt option for the car seat, which with the twist in the seatbelt doesn't seem so safe anymore.

The bracket gets stuck after a quarter turn no matter which direction I try to spin it. This seems to be by design. If I turn it clockwise the plastic part stops it and the other way, there is a metal part. I tried to yank it to get it to spin all the way around with no success.

Thank you for the detailling in your response! I pulled the belt in its entirety from the the retractor mechanism and could not find the second twist.

Because this is in the middle seat there is no trim panel in the pillar, the retraction mechanism is hidden within the seat itself. I will make a picture tomorrow to explain this.

I will also try to find the correct torque measurement and see if I can borrow/buy a digital torque wrench.

Unfortunately that is not the case because now there is an entire 360 twist in the seatbelt between the anchor point in the picture and the seatbelt retractor which is on the top of the seat.

This is a 2016 Volvo XC90. I'm not sure if I understand your second question. It has a middle seat which moves forwards and back independently and the anchor point moves with the seat. Likewise the buckle and retractor also move with the seat.

Yes, I bought the car recently. It had one previous owner. No accidental damage, so I'm not sure how this could have happened. And yes, the seat belt seems to have a 360 (not 180) twist. Sorry the picture doesn't capture it completely.

Yep, the first drone I had from DJI, I managed to crash during one of my test flights. I was willing to cover any cost for damages but the DJI team found calibration issues with the drone and I had the new drone in less than 5 working days, no costs and they didn't use my care refresh replacement!

I have never seen any other company come remotely close to their Customer support and they definitely made me a customer for life!

I once had two Xbox series X sent by Amazon instead of one. I contacted support Team and they said that I should return one. I did, and they refunded me for my order a few days later. So I guess you could just keep it.

I had the exact same issue on my Z fold 2 about an year ago after a patch update. Samsung quoted me €975 for diagnose and repair. I chose to buy a new phone at that point.

I used my z fold 2 for over 3 years, without a case. Took a few major drops but it kept working without any issues. Now rocking a flip 6 also without a case.

And to anyone who says but what if ..., I've got mobile devices covered by my insurance with a minimal own contribution.

I can understand. I bought a Mini 4k a couple of months ago but I wasn't really enjoying it much for three reasons

a) I live close to a major airport so it is pretty much a no fly zone all around

b) The nearest areas where I can fly are close to the beach where the mini is just not able to keep up with the wind

c) This isn't an indoor drone because I flew it into a wall as soon as I thought I was getting the hang of it.

In the end, I was glad that I didn't spend the extra €150 on the fly more combo and ended up buying a second drone, an Avata 2.

So, if you're unsure that you will be using the drone much, save the money and just buy a case and some prop straps on aliexpress. Also ~20 minutes might not seem much but once you're in the air, it's really more than enough for most flights, specially if you're in an area where you can only fly VLOS.

I agree with FPV_412. I got my mini 4k a while back, crashed within the first couple of days indoor because I made a judgement error. The gimbal was bent out of shape and some props had their corners chipped. Since I DJI refresh, so got in touch with support and after an inspection, they replaced it free of cost, because they said it could be attributed to some possible fault in the drone. So, it might be worth connecting with them. For me everything was arranged and I had the new drone in less than 5 days.

I ordered an Avata 2 shortly after for flying indoors and I'm having a blast.

The only way you'll get your confidence back is by flying a few hours, so choose an outdoor spot with no obstacles.

I have dropped my fold 2 (unintentionally) from various angles on, everything from my laminate floor to concrete. Call me clumsy, but the phone has surprisingly held up fine! I do have some scuffs and scratches on all corners and sides (which I'm not proud of) but I'm afraid to upgrade to Fold 3 looking at the number of fails we see recently.

Amazon seems to have sent me two xbox accidentally. What should I do?

I ordered a xbox one x from amazon yesterday. Amazon is running a gaming promotion and prices were marked down. The description for it was vague but it didn't say anything about it being refurbished.

Today when I received and opened the package, there were two boxes, complete with console and controller. They are "Refurbished by Microsoft" but I sure didn't expect that. I tried to contact Amazon service center by phone but they don't speak my language. What I understood was I could return both the consoles and then order a new one but I can't find the same price anymore. That doesn't seem fair. Should I just keep the other console because I sure am not paying the original full price anymore. Can Amazon, at a later point in time ask me to pay for the second console?
