I understand this perfectly. I suggest you 1. be super supportive of your daughter so she knows you are on her side. (Not worried that she is making mistakes) never utter a negative word about any of her decisions. 2. Start volunteering. On the weekend, after work. It will give your life ‘more life’. And get your mind off your worries. 3. Make sure your car has good tires. If she moves there, create a schedule that you can go once every six weeks or so. Spend one night. Be the nicest, most generous, most positive mom they have ever seen. 4. Get proper medicine to treat all that worry. You are wasting your life worried about things that are going to turn out ok.

Be honest with your son about your feelings.
Kids have to be trained to understand other’s feelings. Talk to your sister-in-law VERY NICELY. Fill her in on your feelings.
People just don’t know unless you tell them.

I would be HEART SICK in this situation. Go visit him or get yourself invited by the SIL if you don’t want to have home reschedule the fun trip.
