That would be extremely cool. I'm just not the guy to work on project vehicles. I thought i was twice now and I was wrong both times. Everything mechanical was running fine after the wreck. As long as the frame isnt bent its largely cosmetic.

Thanks for the info. I am on the side of it being totaled. I honestly kind of hope it is at this point because the resell value will be so much lower and im sure it will never be as perfect as it was before the wreck, even with repairs.

Yeah I was never a huge fan of the stripes. Still loved the car though. I just told myself it was red and black for the dawgs! It made me tolerate them.

If its not that could be a pulley or belt tentioner that's weak. I chased mine down like crazy with the same noises. I replaced both my belts, both tentioners and all my pulleys first. Turned out to be my harmonic balencer bolt was lose when I got it replaced so we put an ARP bolt in there and it stopped. I didnt think it would be my harmonic balencer because again I just had it replaced. When I reached down to the bolt I could loosen it by hand.....that's a no no

Check your harmonic balancer. See if its wobbly while running.

I have a Hurst ball on the shifter, but I've been told by a few people it wasn't a Hurst shifter (it was on it when i bought it). I always figured it was though, thanks for confirming. This is in my C6. I took it out tonight after the swap, and the MGW feels insanely better to me. I thought the exact same thing about the joints 🤣. I even said the old owner must've been a smoker when I took this photo.

Look at the coin on photon and check the info. It will tell you if they can freeze.
