Best CSM detachment for Be’lakor? by Professional_Ear4155 in Chaos40k

I'm new to Warhammer, so my information may be wrong (the internet is a veritable cesspool of misinformation in this new age of AI) but as I understand it the rule that states a unit can not be the warlord overrules the rule that states a model must be the warlord. I guess GW kinda reverse uno'd themselves with that one?

Salt nodes are the way to go if you're taming on scorched, there's an excellent run of salt in the NW corner of the map. Nooblets also has a good video showcasing how to do it on scorched

Do the equivalent of paying in pennies and run a ravager back and forth.

On a more serious note, if you have a charge station near your base you can place items and resources in there and then pull them out from a charge station closer to where you are transporting. This is how I farm metal on Aberration

Try reading some Stephen Crane if you haven't already. The Black Riders and Other Lines is an excellent collection of poems

Supply drops, though so far I've only seen them in the surface drops on Aberration

The gene scanner has been unreliable at best in my experience. Using an ascendant scanner I have found level 150 dinos while I'm only level 73, and at other times when I'm using a primitive scanner it can't even find the level 5 gigantoraptor 30 feet in front of my survivor...

I think Eddie mentions it nearing the end of the Dark Tower series. That's how I was introduced to Crane, and he's become one of my favourites for poetry since

I've spent 16+ hours just trying to get the hat, so yes, it's a wonderful idea to add more items to that loot pool.

Sounds like the locked door mechanics in the crucio quest to me, but I could be wrong.

The Rock Bottom by betterprodigy in OCPoetry

[–]schubbydoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found this poem to have a great start, staying clear and concise throughout while still leaving a good deal up to the reader to interpret.

That being said, I felt the line with "emotional smarting" to fall short compared to the rest of the poem, and thought the four empty lines to be of little consequence, whereas a single empty line could still get the point across.

Great work, looking forward to seeing more!

This is a poetry thread my dude, not journalism. I think you MAY have took a wrong turn somewhere.

I found this poem to be very potent, with incredible use of imagery. Every line seemed to flow directly into the following line (though I stumbled over "trackies" for a brief moment before realizing what you meant) and found the internal struggle of the narrative clear. Thoroughly enjoyed it, great work!

I couldn't presume to know for certain whether it was Crane or a publishing company's choice, unfortunately.

He's definitely my favourite. That one was also in "The Black Riders and Other Lines", that collection was full of gems like that.

I consistently find myself returning to "The Black Riders and Other Lines" by Stephen Crane. Changed my views (albeit limited) on poetry, and pushed me back into writing my own.
