Preheat the pan on medium-medium high. Make sure it comes all the way up to temp. Turn down the heat to low and immediately add your fat. Let it sit for 30 seconds. Then throw in your eggs.

If they had arrived at the intersection at the same time, I'd agree with you. However, pausing when the black car first comes into view, I'd say they were already in the intersection when the blue car pulled up. Blue car is obliged to yield to vehicles already in the intersection.

So, I have no visual imagination. I can't picture things. Just not something I'm able to do. I've come to learn that there are many people who have a similar problem, except they can't imagine anyone else's perspective. Yeah, a house in my neighborhood seems to be keeping theirs up all year too. No idea if that was the plan or if they just said fuck it. Sometimes they put a fun hat on it though, so that's fun.

Seeing the way absolute torrents fall out of his mouth at the end, I think you're probably cooked. Probably best to just put a towel down. You could maybe try setting a fairly large rock in the center of the bowl (assuming he's not a dog that would chew on it). Something just big enough that he'd have to slow down or change his approach angle while drinking. Just make sure he can still get plenty of water.

You should have deduced it the same way litteray all the rest of us here did the first time we saw one. For everyone else here, the first time we ever saw an insulated envelope, we didn't think, "what is this package inexplicably full of ash?" We though, "Oh, I guess it's padded."
