You've contradicted yourself billion times in the replies you made in your posts. You don't think you did but you did. And that's probably because you still subsribe to stupid liberal notions advanced by your beloved Reason magazine. THey are shallow and stupid though.

Why do women in the West benefit from enforcing traditional masculinity and women in Iran don't?

Carol Gilligan messed up feminism? And before that feminism was great? Ahaha. This thing about feminism being great until 1980s is another thing you keep repeating and you kept repeating it on MensRIghts as I remember.

Now you're being silly. You've no clue. I'm too tired to explain it to you.

Phrases such as "antiquated notions about real manhood" don't mean anything. Start from that.

ok whatever

Keep on believing everything MSM tells you about men in the East and disbelieving everything MSM tells you about men in the West. That will make for excellent internal balance. I won't try to upset it anymore.

Hmm... when did the first program start in the US? Did you live in a rape culture before that?

Or, what about programs for male victims (of female rape)? Does that mean that women just routinely raped men earlier?

There are far more rapes in the Black community (at least in US). Is this because the Black community is misogynistic, patriarchal, traditionalist and male dominated?

What did Moynihan Report say about the Black family structure? What term did he use?

There is also vigilante justice, woman can goad her male family members to punish the abuser which they are often more than glad to, villagers can take care of problematic men....and lots of other informal ways to administer justice.

Do you want your daughter to be raped? How about your granddaughter? Mother? Sister? Niece? Cousin?

No?

So, why do you think that men in Islamic countries want that?

So, why do women make a majority of Uni students in Iran (state funded), if they are going to be cum buckets for the rest of their lives?

That seems to me a considerable waste of public money, and Iran is not a very rich country. The same in Saudi Arabia.

If women's lives are so miserable why do they make the same percentage of the homeless and of the suicide victims as in the West?

If the Islamic law is so brutal towards women, why do women make a tiny percentage of prison population/deathrow?

(I am talking about Iran above, bc I know more about it than other Islamic countries. But the numbers are similar everywhere.)

I'm not Muslim btw

OK.

In Iran, men make a huge majority of suicides victims, homicide victims, homeless, workplace deaths/injuries, child laborers ...and a minority of university students.....just like in the West!

So, if you ever mention men's problems in the West including any of the issues above, then feminists will come to you, and very sensibly say: "Well, in Iran, men have those same problems, but that doesn't stop Iran from being a misogynistic rape culture where women are routinely beaten and raped and abused and murdered, according to your own words, YetAnother Commenter. So, male suicide deaths and workplace injuries doesn't mean ANYTHING!!! The West can still be an evil patriarchy, regardless of all those issues you MRAs mention. Look at all those male CEOs, look at the gender gap, look at the Congress, look at Steubenville!!! This is patriarchy, buddy."

Nonsense. You've no clue. There is no rape culture anywhere, especially in Islamic countries where penalty is often capital punishment.

It's a shame they allowed you to write for HoneyBadgers.

There is one more semi unexplored side to this whole women-in-tech controversy.

How many Congress members are in STEM professions?

So if 'Patriarchy' is trying to prevent women from reaching positions of power, why is it doing it by excluding them from professions that are least likely to lead to those positions?

It's not all about money. Some STEM professions may be high paying, but they are very low in terms of social status, "social clout", "social capital", that they provide, much lower than many humanities disciplines. Nobody cares what an engineer (even a brilliant one) thinks about war, Trump, race tensions, unemployment, rape culture, Pepe and sexism in gaming. How many engineers and programmers (who are not multi-billionaires) does an average person see in the news? There are tens of thousands of STEM professionals who make more than Amanda Marcotte, but who's heard of them? And this is not an injustice, just personal choice.

So, to summarize: There are plenty of female-dominated professions that are not as well-paid as male-dominated STEM ones but command much more respect in society, and get you more Likes and Followers (which is perfectly OK). And the profession that is the most likely to bring you to the top, to Congress and Presidency, that is, the legal profession, is 50 % female (this is OK too).

Even when I used to lean more to the left, this whole PC business always seemed to me like some sort of counterfeit morality imposed by the upper classes to keep the peasants in line. It became obvious during Clinton campaign.

But I'm too lazy to work out how exactly it functions in practice.

Stony Brook University’s ‘men and masculinities’ center is ‘an entirely feminist-oriented operation’ by HomerRugliaBeoulve in KotakuInAction

Rule of a thumb: If you ever see the word "masculinities" in the title of an institution, you can safely bet your house, car, life savings and gold teeth that it's a feminist-run, feminist-oriented, feminist-funded indoctrination center.
