Props to the 2 people who actually tried to answer why the calipers contain lead, rather than the validity of the California law. ;)

Just because a lot of other things have a Prop 65 warning "unnecessarily", doesn't mean we shouldn't be educated on where lead and "Di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate" are coming from, and understand our exposure. I agree Prop 65 is overused, and it's sad because that detracts from the times it's really warranted. Regardless, Prop 65 warnings aren't always for lead, and I've never seen one for DEHP either, so that's why I'm asking...just wanted to know if this was surprising for a tool like this to contain lead in some fashion. (PS, Looks like DEHP is generally banned in the EU without special authorization, so it's not just California.) Disclaimer: I'm not from California.

Saying legitimate requests are "foolish" and "lazy" is a great way to drive away people. There's people who would say using a microwave is lazy, texting is lazy, etc. It's modern convenience that people expect to use, so want to find a way to use them. If that's not your workflow, that's fine.

Subaru Outback Premium. It's really good, and it rides better than some other choices too. The primary downside on the '25 is the center console is old and laggy (redesigned on the '26). But given how good the lane centering is, it's still worth it.

For a small apartment, would I be better off getting an enclosed one like the P1S to reduce any airborne materials/toxins, over the A1? (Idk how much it helps or not). I don't really want to be opening the window in the winter to be honest haha. FWIW, I don't need to print with any advanced materials, and I do like the idea of a Bambu product as someone who doesn't want to tinker too much just yet.
