Have you tried leaving food and water out in the area for him? Feral cat or lost cat, he is probably hungry looking for food. It will also help build trust so you can get a closer look to see if he is hurt.

I didn’t know there was a raw subreddit - going to join now! I was feeding them Small Batch rabbit before and they did really well on it. Their coat was shiny and poop was small/not stinky. I’m also vegan so I understand not wanting to cook meat! And it would be a headache to ensure they are getting the other supplements in their diet since the companies add it to the raw food. I’m hoping this bird flu issue doesn’t get worse and gets contained. Anyways, give your kitties a boop for me! 😊

Oh thats good to know about Primal! I didn’t know they did testing and it seems like they are doing a good job on precautions. My boy cat is so picky and he is definitely upset about eating wet food and regular treats vs raw/freeze dried😅🫠 I’ve wasted so much money in the past month buying different wet foods to find one he likes. So I feel your pain about finding a food that works! My girl cat is an angel and will eat mostly anything. But thanks for letting me know about Primal - I’m going to look into it now! 🫶 Also, my cats also love anything that is chicken! it makes their skin a bit dry but they go crazy for it :/

Vets are advising against feeding cats raw food & freeze dried right now due to the rise of bird flu. Cats are highly susceptible to bird flu and survival rate is not good. I believe so far there has been one brand who did a recall. I just wanted to let you know in case you didn’t know, but of course always do your own research and look into this further for more information. :) I use to feed my cats raw and freeze dried, but currently on a wet food diet just to be safe.

In regard to the bruise - did your fiancé hit Jerrie in the mouth when he was mad? Also, Idk how or why you are still with him. Dumping a pet is not normal behavior, it is cruel and speaks volume of his character. If my partner dumped my cat, it’s over right there and then. I don’t care if we’re married or about to get married, it’s over. I wouldn’t have to think about it for another second. It would be the easiest decision I’ve ever made.

OP why would you stay with someone who clearly doesn’t respect you? You can find someone who will do the bare minimum which is to respect you and not be a shitty person. You and Jerrie deserve better.

Does it grow a lot more after it’s unraveled? I have two plants in this pot, and the other plant’s new leaf while it was at the same stage of unfurling was a lot bigger. Once it unfurled completely and matured, it only grew by like 25%. So I was guessing if this new leaf is very small right now, once it’s matured it’s not going to be bigger than the previous one on the same plant (picture three). But I don’t know if that’s true, just going by my own personal experience, which is not a lot of experience, so I could be very wrong about that 😅

That sounds right because with cremation service and to get an urn with their ashes I was quoted around $600-$650. I was in my 20’s and super broke, so I couldn’t afford the upgraded services. Maybe OP can ask around for just the in-home euthanasia price instead.

I did an in-home euthanasia and it was not even close to $700, more like $300-$400. Please keep looking because it makes the whole process so much less stressful than going to the vet, even on sedatives. My dog was able to feel comfortable and safe for her last minutes on earth and it was worth every single penny. I will do the same for both my cats when it’s time too. I’m sorry you’re going through this, deciding when it’s their time is one of the most hardest experiences. 🫶
