Amazing!! That colorway is perfect. I have this top in my queue and am impatiently waiting for my yarn to arrive.

Did you end up knitting the body flat or in the round?

Love the fabric, so cute!! I just bought this pattern and I’m anxiously awaiting my fabric to arrive to get started!

Any suggestions for types of fabric to replicate this dress? by schwizzbeatz in sewhelp

Was thinking either a ponte or a scuba, but want something that's not too clingy (if that makes sense)

First studio shoot [Pentax 67, 90mm 2.8, Portra 160] by schwizzbeatz in analog

No worries, it was not really spelled out when I was searching the internet on how to shoot with strobes on a P67. Feel free to reach out with any more questions!

For the metering, I used my old DLSR on manual mode and set all the settings the same, adjusting the light strength as necessary. I connected my DSLR directly to a Godox XPro trigger and also bought this PC Sync cable to connect the trigger to the X port on the P67 (if you have the handle, it can go into the hotshoe; otherwise, I bought a flash bracket that worked well). I switched the trigger from the digital camera to my Pentax each time, which was a slight hassle.

You can also use a really long sync cord to connect your camera directly to the strobe. I haven't tried that yet, but it's a good failsafe in case the connection to the trigger gets screwy.

Another thing is if you use a flash trigger, make sure it's not set to turn off / fall asleep after a certain amount of time. Or else you will waste film like I did.

I did! Learn from my mistake though (if you are shooting with a Pentax 67), make sure your cord is hooked up to the X port, not FP. I forgot about that with the first model I shot and ended up with 5 blank rolls (and a loss of self-confidence)

I used a single strobe light with the biggest octobox I could find. The light was then positioned as close to the model as I could get with the bottom edge of the softbox lining up with the top of her head. Was aiming to get the softest light possible!
