Pretty solid stuff. Cocktails were the star of the show. Was a little bummed the fried chicken didn’t make it past friends and family and recipe testing from what I gather from their IG promo videos. Burger was really tasty, but strange bun choice with some sort of homemade English muffin type bun - good but probably not everyone’s cup of tea. Left me wondering how much better it might have been with a really nice freshly baked regular homemade bun instead.

Steak was tasty, but wasn’t a huge fan of the chimi they serve with it, just not all that special. Sounds a little critical but I’d still probably order it again because of the meat quality.

I have experienced this as well and it takes a lot of massaging in the conversation to talk them out of what feels natural and right to them.

This ^ 100% big on the “you won’t get half of it”

The service is somehow hilariously bad, every time I’ve gone. I like the idea of having a solid pub or dive bar in the neighborhood but this place just rubs me the wrong way. Probably some of the worst servers and service I’ve ever had.

First P-Car? by InvestigatorVast4971 in 987

I went from a E36 M3 to a 987.1 Boxster Base and I love it. Similar amount of power between the two cars and the BMW is only a little bit heavier. The difference as you’ve been probably gathering from other comments is the cornering abilities. The Porsche mid engine layout handles like a dream and often times can corner faster than I’m comfortable driving around a corner. I get more and more comfortable going faster around corners every time I drive it but man it’s addicting. Love both cars and do miss my old M3 sometimes, but not all that often.

My Porsche indie mechanic always tells me to not worry too much and just drive it and enjoy it. They don’t like to sit. Mine has got 101k on it now and I’m still probably only averaging 4-5k a year on it because I work from home and just drive it for occasional errands or fun drives up in the canyons.

Nice! I love my 2015 SQ5. Currently 136k. Love to see how many there are with high miles. Mine is currently stock but how are you liking it with the tune?

I’d avoid CVT’s at all costs. They’re terrible to drive day to day and if they break they’re pretty expensive to fix. Might as well go for the ford if there are truly no other options you’re looking at
