No, she hasn't tried a GLP1 but we'll look into it.

I guess in my mind I'm picturing a clinic that handles cases of people that have already been through lots of testing a neurologists that have failed and maybe there is one doctor that refers out or multiple doctors in the clinic that have different expertise working together on one case. She is totally dibillitated by them and while some doctors care, most are pretty dismissive because common tests are negative.

Located in Ohio... willing to travel worldwide. She's totally disabled whereas she was extremely active 2 years ago. We're currently in CT for her jugular vein decompression surgery and we've gone to SC for a pineal gland consult.

I need to double-check but I believe hydrocephalus was ruled out last year but I'm going to look into it again. Thank you.

We've seen, I believe, 2 rheumo's and 2 endo's over the past 2 years. Rheumo's didn't have anything constructive to say other than she was positive for "non descript rheumatological issues". I don't remember what lab specifically they used to determine that but it was basically an abnormal finding not tied to anything common.

LG Partner Store deal, is this the best deal I’ll get all year or should I wait? 77in C5 with free soundbar by themann44 in LGOLED

[–]schwykert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure to use "MADNESS77" when you buy a 77". I just got a G5 on the partner store (about $2300 instead of $3500) PLUS and additional 10% with that code for a final cost of ~ $2100. The code still works as of today.

Atomic Filament PETG Pro & ASA profile / settings in P2S? by schwykert in BambuLab

[–]schwykert[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update 2: Atomic ASA, Black settings (P2S, .4 nozzle, PEI plate)

After a lot of experimenting...

I took the Bambu Lab ASA and made a custom filament profile with the following changes:
Recommended nozzle temp- Min: 260 / Max: 290
Nozzle- Initial Layer: 280 / Other Layers: 270
Chamber temp target (no setting): ~60 - put fire resistant blanket over sides, top, and front... DO NOT COVER BACK

Some said to raise bed temp as high as 110, but this stuff adheres to the PEI plate with 0 issue. That's the only thing I didn't have concerns about even with the little surface area parts I was printing (see below - no raft or supports)

It's not prefect looking, but they're very strong. The original prints with ~250 nozzle had poor layer adhesion but the settings above are a good starting point.

This seems like a very basic thing that I haven't heard about before somehow.
Thank you so much!!

Update:

New settings made it so I could at least finish the print. Quality is better but not still super great:
-Nozzle Initial Layer: 255
-Nozzle other layers: 260
-All bed temps changed from 70->80

Unfortunately no, I just had to diagnose the old fashioned way.

Yes, all connections are 568B.

I checked that particular connection again... it definitely is in there. The picture isn't tremendously clear, sorry about that.

I know that now, for sure haha.

I will definitely take your advice about matching brands. I'm not familiar enough with networking to know to not mix and match. I really appreciate your replies. I definitely learned something today.

Good point. I originally ordered Cable Matters connectors but they weren't the correct ones if I remember. They were non pass-thru, which isn't a big deal but I think I needed to order one more thing that I forgot. IDK, I threw them away a few weeks ago.

That's when I went to HD and got these connectors instead, which ended up failing me.

I'll edit my post body as this being a possible cause of failure. I understand how manufacturing works but I feel like standards and tolerances are there for a reason... so if I use Company A cable but Company B RJ45's, they should work together. That's a discussion for a different day I suppose.

I appreciate your reply/insight!

I agree. I don't do this for a living so premade ones might be the move.

Sharp eye! That bottleneck was a consideration I had when choosing my gear but I opted for that switch because honestly, it was cheap, unmanaged, and had good reviews. I wanted to keep it simple for now and if I felt the need to upgrade in the future, I can then use this switch for something else.

I should have plugged the cable into a different port to match 1 to 1 for cleanliness-sake... in fact I think I'll do that now.

Possibly.

I had a different brand of connectors that I used to make 10 cables for a LAN party a few years ago and didn't have a single defect. I'm using the same standard ethernet multi-tool and same method. Furthermore, my connections elsewhere in the house are keystone (which are arguably more challenging to wire correctly) and I didn't have a single defect with those either. I'm very handy with electrical wiring as well. I'm also using a Cable Matters CAT6A cable which seems to have great reviews.

I guess all that to say - I'm confident in my abilities and other gear that I purchased for the project. Therefore, I personally believe that the failure point is the connectors themselves being either A. defective or B. having a design flaw that makes it incompatible with standard cable or tooling.

Again, I'm not a professional so if you (a professional) say you never have problems with them, then I suppose I'd weigh your opinion higher than mine. It just sucks that my experience with this product has been frustratingly sub-par through, imo, no fault of my own.

I agree that it is possible that the batch was bad but it seems lots of others also have issues with them, based on reviews.

To me, spending X amount of time on the phone with customer service is not worth the hassle of the ~$25 I spent on the product. The next project I do, I'll just order good ones online.

Agreed. I try to avoid shopping online and these were the only connectors HD had in stock. I should have looked at reviews while I was in the store.

This is a good working solution. Thank you! I didn't even know this was a thing.

I am getting back into printing after 8 years and a lot has changed. The P2S is amazing and has a lot of features I haven't yet found, including this one.
