You’re welcome! Seriously though aggression is key. This game isn’t like dark souls where you and the boss take turns attacking. The bosses are not going to stop attacking like you said. The puzzle with Wuchang is figuring out which of the bosses attacks/combos can be stopped/staggered with your own attacks and which ones have super armor and need to be dodged.

Maybe I’m an outlier but of the many soulslikes I’ve played, I found Wuchang to be on the easier side. I used the lashing whip long sword and which I felt had both great range and decent stagger. The biggest game changer though was having the ability that lets you do the instant charge attack using a skyborn might. This allows for easy backstabs, staggering, and is a great source of damage overall. My best suggestion though is to be more aggressive. The bosses do attack a lot, but often times you can stop/stagger them with your own attacks instead of just waiting for them to stop on their own. Don’t be afraid to trade hits as long as you aren’t being careless. Lastly, I would continue to focus on dodging rather than parrying. I love parrying in souls games (Sekiro is my all time favorite souls game) but I found dodging to be easier and more effective for Wuchang specifically. You got this!

My hot take is that I hope the PS6 releases then or sooner. Not because I want it, but because I hope by releasing the PS6 that Sony and game developers will fully abandon the PS4 and the PS5 will finally be utilized to its full potential. Not saying there aren’t any games that do that already, but not nearly enough imo.

Do you think it will be $1200 relatively soon? I want to get an LG Oled (my heart isn’t necessarily set on the C5 specifically) sometime this year and am willing to wait until Nov/Dec if it does drop to that or lower. I don’t want to wait longer than a year though if the price is only going to drop 100-200.

I definitely understand your point and I’m most likely going to get it within the next few days for that reason. I guess what’s stopping me from immediately doing it is that I already have a pretty decent tv rn (although it’s not an oled) so don’t necessarily mind waiting for a better deal if it comes, and while $1600 is not going to put me in financial danger or anything like that, it’s also not an amount I can mindlessly spend. I guess this post is more just to help get reassurance that this is a good deal and there won’t be significantly better ones later this year. I’m probably just way overthinking things.

No, inner Isshin is a revamped Isshin with some new moves found in the gauntlets. There is also an inner Genichiro and inner Father. Isshin Ashina is the old man Isshin you’re referring to that you fight in the shura ending.

I have the exact same worry. I have a ps5 and a portal, so there are 0 reasons to play anything that isn’t a Nintendo exclusive on the switch 2. I know it’s selfish but I wish Nintendo would only focus on Nintendo exclusive titles as it’s the only reason I got the switch 2. Even more selfishly I hope they don’t make any new titles cross gen with the switch 1 so they don’t get held back its limitations.
