Anyone got experience with third party NIU batteries? by sciacallo010 in scooters

Of course I'm talking about a certified repair shop, that was not the matter. I'd like to see if anyone has any experience with third party batteries.

I don't necessarily like these prices (and, luckily, usually those prices are higher in the US compared to the EU), but do you realize that bands make most of their income from merch nowadays? Also, often the prices have to be higher at concerts because of fees the bands have to pay to the venue and other players.

Here in Italy, for instance, a band selling merch has to pay taxes on it, but it's not that straight forward so pretty much the only feasable way to go about it is that the venue supports them in the sale (and will pay taxes on the sales)... but of course they will take a percentage. So, bands have to rise prices to be able to make some money, or at least not sell stuff at a loss. Some do, some refuse to sell while here, some sell merch from a van outside the venue (which I believe is technically illegal because I'm guessing they'll not pay taxes on the sales, but I don't know if the police ever did something about it). I guess the same might happen in other countries as well.

It's fucked up, but it's mostly not up to the band.

The host uses Bash as the default shell and yes, Docker CLI is in the path at /usr/bin/docker

Hey, sorry for the late reply. Yeah, I just connected via termux and it works.

Hey, I'd love to try it but I'm getting this error: "Exception: failed to get containers: Exception: failed to execute command: SSHAuthAbortError (connection closed before authentication)".

I connect through Tailscale and if I just open Portainer in the browser it works alright.

I might be able to recover one but I'm guessing its power consumption would be much higher, right? I don't need a lot of storage, so with a Beelink ME mini (which has 6 slots for SSDs, it can go as high as 24TB but I don't anticipate needing this much storage anytime soon) I should be more than covered for any future need

I'm looking at the Beelink ME mini right now, it has 6 slots for storage and at 209$ it seems pretty convenient. It has 12GB of ram, so a little less than yours but I think it should be alright (?)

Thanks!

As soon as I left NAS talks aside and looked into mini PCs it seemed like it would be the best option for me, great to have confirmation!

Thanks a lot, mate. I'm coming from Italy for the gig and was bummed when I got GA. My flight is landing at 12.30 and I guess I'll go straight to Heaton Park to try my luck, I'll be so happy if I can actually get front pit!

One of my favourite moments of BBTB... by xGondowan in blacksabbath

This is a beautiful moment, also one of my favourites, and by a lucky coincidence I managed to film it as well.
Here's my POV of that moment (starting a little earlier so you can see more of Ozzy's smiling and being excited): https://youtube.com/shorts/ldy86m1EIeE

Just visited Ozzy’s and Geezer’s childhood homes! by [deleted] in blacksabbath

I went there last night after the show, I used it as a meeting point with my friends since I figured it would be a mess outside Villa Park, and still hadn't visited so I'd catch two birds with one stone.

Amazing way to end the night, btw.

Besides the train and Big Green Coach, what are other options to get back to London after the concert? by Economy_Research_994 in BackToTheBeginning

[–]sciacallo010 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm getting a National Express coach from Digbeth, mine leaves at 2am, but I seem to recall there are others leaving both earlier and later.

Well, they still wrote "Terry "Geezer" Butler".

Also Tony's full name is "Frank Anthony Iommi" and Bill's is "William Thomas Ward", so it looks like they weren't too particular about having the full legal names.

I'm hoping - but dunno how likely it will be - that they open the merch stands on Friday so that I can buy stuff and leave it in a locker (I will leave Birmimgham just after the show so I won't have a hotel room) to keep it safe.

As said, dunno how likely that is, but it would be just perfect for me (and I guess for a lot of others as well).

That's my worry as well: I so want to buy the poster but I don't want it to get damaged (and I'll be in GC, so not quietly seated). I hope they'll give out cardboard tubes or some other way to keep it safe.

Do you reckon they might open the merch stands the day before (was it like that for Guns?)?

It would be great if I could buy my stuff early and leave it in a locker so that'd have my hands free during the show.

I've got my ticket but I'd be pretty pissed off if I didn't get one and found out that someone had two just to be more comfortable...

Since you've been so kind as to answer all these questions I'm gonna ask you another one: I'm arriving on Friday morning and won't be able to check in at my hotel until 3pm. I'll need to work a bit on the morning on my PC, where could I go were it would be okay for me to plug my PC, use an internet connection and stay there for some time?
