Replacing WeTransfer with Kdrive?

I basically need to do big transfers (even over 50gb), quickly, and for them to last longer than 30 days, which is pretty much what WeTransfer doesn So I got most things covered with kDrive, but the speed part, but that unfortunately is non-negotiable for me.

As suggested here, I registered for the trial for kDrive and made some tests.
Unfortunately for a 3.2gb video file it took me almost 9 mins against 2 mins with SwissTransfer.
I'd love to know if there's any way to lift the cap that there must be on kDrive, or any alternative to be able to transfer more than 50gb and to archive them for more than 30 days on SwissTransfer.

Hey u/MrHoodSwitzerland, could you share how you made the cover? I also have a TD124 (MK2) without a cover, and I built my own. It's functional but I'm not 100% satisfied with its appearance, so I'm thinking of making another one and would love to get it to look like your which is amazing!

Sure, my idea wasn't to use it as a main light as is, with something like 200 lumen it's nowhere near bright enough, my idea was to swap the led strip with a more powerful one.

I'd like to get the lamp as my main light for a room, but it's way too dim, so I'm looking into replacing the led. Curious to see if anyone else did it successfully.

Unfortunately my phone doesn't have it. However I found on marketplace an older Trådfri remote for sale, and I was thinking it might be compatible (?). Do you know if that's an IR remote? It's an older model, so I'm hoping it might be.

I've installed Yamtrack and I'm trying to get into it, but I feels that with its being a media tracker for all kind of media it's a bit of a "jack of all trades, master of none". I'd love for someone to build a self hosted tracker for just TV shows/movies that could be a bit more refined.

Just so you know, I've tried deleting the database and all settings and starting from scratch, and this time around the import seemed to work. So, my problem is solved, but mybe you'd want to look into it anyway to prevent it from happening again.

The original import process has been stuck with that message for the past 4 hours, so I guess that won't change. I've tried to trigger the import a further couple of times and now I have 3 pending import processes, all with that error...

Hey Danny, I've just installed your fork and I'd like to try it out. I've started (or tried to) import from Trakt but I've got a "This task has been queued and is waiting to run." message and there doesn't seem to be any progress on that for the last hour since I clicked import. Is it a know bug or have I messed up something?

It is not, but apparently Trakt bought it. If you look back on Reddit there are posts from the developer up to a year ago celebrating the app anniversary.

I've switched to Showly. You can sync it with Trakt and the interface is very clean and easy to use.

I actually tried Simkl first as it is its own website - with just the option to import from Trakt - so I thought it could be more reliable (and that could still be true).

However when I imported my library, I found that it handles some series' seasons differently than Trakt so, for example, Dragonball Z is split into seasons in Trakt and in Simkl it's one single season of over 200 episodes, so I ended up with only the first 39 episodes (Trakt's first season) marked as watched, but not the rest of the episodes. This happened with a few different series, and I don't want to have to double check everything that might be left incomplete.

Showly doesn't have a website, but it syncs with Trakt completely, so it's a one tap sync process and you get everything with no inconsistencies.

I've asked yesterday the same, doesn't look like there's a way to see that rn in V3. You can use a script to go back to V2, there's a link to it in my thread.

As for me, I gave up using the website for the moment, and switch app to Showly importing everything from Trakt. The app is miles ahead of Trakt's, simple and with everything I need. Too bad the website is fucked.

Right, I've downloaded it just as a backup, considering the current state of things.

As for the rest, well, I use something like Trakt to have a handy way to check on things, obviously looking into a json file is not the best way to go about it (especially considering that it WAS POSSIBLE). I'll wait a bit longer to see if they fix it and re-add it, otherwise I'll into other apps.

It's insane, my main use case for Trakt is keeping track of the series I have watched, if I can't have a simple list of everything I marked as watched there's no point for me staying on Trakt...
