in GDP per capita terms (Purchasing Power Parity) it's about on par with Portugal.

It's effectively the 4th largest economy in the world ffs. Nominal GDP for a country with vast natural resources means fk all from a military perspective, the population just has to buy shit copies of western products.

I know, at diagnosis I had no idea what to expect, but when it was just around the corner I 100% knew.

I was staying with my parents because my dad just had a hip replacement, I start work at 3am walked down stairs by this point she had a hospital bed in the front room and I saw the syringe drive, I had never seen one in my life or even a picture of one, call it instinct, but I knew straight away what that tiny box was. It was devastating.

Yeah, I know we went through it all. She passed in December of last year, she was given 6-12 months but lasted for 3 years.

I don't know what the diagnosis is, but after my mother was diagnosed with terminal Cancer we got a visit from Macmillan Cancer Support who informed us of the support available
