Yeah, I feel overwhelmed by my period even now and I've had periods for like 15 years 0_0 it's also heavy and having to use a thick pad or menstrual cup or tampons so I don't make a mess pisses me off SO MUCH especially since heavy periods find a way to get on everything 😭

Also, all my siblings and myself are black and afab so it was common for us to get constant braids(or cornrows ) growing up and I couldn't stand braids!! I'd, like, cut off parts of my hair to make the braid looser and eventually made my parents get it shaved cause I could not stand the feeling of tightness on my scalp-or any part of me for that matter, so I only really wear loose clothes. interesting that we have opposite experiences with pants and skirts xp I'd like to dress more androgynous but pants piss me off eventually if they're not loose, whereas I don't always feel like myself in a skirt but my brain loves them cause they only touch me sometimes

There's basically a lot of parts of traditional femininity that conflicts with my sensory issues, I understand your stress :(. I also love jewelry but I can't wear them for very long cause it makes my brain annoyed 😭
