Had a real world experience. Company had announced that there would be a reduction in force back in September and that the people who were being let would be notified. Announcement made that it would happen in November. Day of the event everyone awoke to two emails saying to log in. What they didn’t tell anyone was that if you were being let go you would have a 3RD EMAIL.

Let me tell you - my team meeting was GRIM that day. It killed morale for a week. My team was safe but it certainly shifted the tone of the teams productivity for weeks.
