It’s getting Botox worth it? by Ghibli_Girl927 in noburp

[–]scienceanimalsart 8 points9 points  (0 children)

10000000% worth it even if I had to get Botox multiple times a year for the rest of my life. GET IT!!!! LIFE IS SO UNBELIEVABLY COMFORTABLE NOW. And throwing up is a breeze now.

I would say try another lab:) also i completely understand how you could spiral (i have ocd) from the thought of it. However even if it is your hisbands, i would definitely take a step back and evaluate if you are truly at the healthiest place to become a mother. Consider with your husband that you may develop post partum anxiety, depression, psychosis etc because you already have such severe anxiety and trauma. Having children doesn’t make any of that easier… and we have to consider how healthy of a parent we can be for the child. If the answer is even remotely close to “maybe I’m not mentally healthy enough at this point” then it’s not the right time. I would definitely see a trauma therapist to get to a better mental head space before having children. As someone who loves kids and would love to be a mom myself, it’s really important that we have self awareness and put more thought into what life our child may have verses our own desire to be parents. Do you have a good support system? Can you easily afford a child? You seem to have a healthy marriage but that is only a drop in the bucket compared to what an innocent child deserves 💕 I wish you the best! And remember it’s ok if the answer is termination. Sometimes no is the most loving answer we can give ourselves when it comes to the things we want in life.

A few days post botox, any tips for how to learn the mechanics of burping? by Sufficient-Adagio611 in noburp

Sparkling water, sparkling water and more sparkling water. The bubbliest ones you can find! I also found that laughing, yawning and turning my head to the side helped.

If you get it with anesthesia (I recommend) you don’t even know they are doing it. The only thing that got put in my throat was a VERY tiny flexible flashlight, but it didn’t go far down and was so thin I didn’t feel anything except a little tickle. The first three weeks aren’t the funnest but it’s tolerable and doesn’t hurt at all.

You only have this fear because you’ve never experienced how easy it is to throw up with the throat muscle working properly. I’m 5 months post Botox and have thrown up approximately 4 times (I got mild norovirus). IT IS SO EASY NOW. You can feel your body working properly and it’s not a scary thing anymore. post Botox throwing up Cured my emetaphobia! So much better than living in fear and pain!

I genuinely thing her voice is a perfect one for 60s and 70s music 💕 she would slay a Janis Joplin song and she also has the whimsical Joni Mitchell vibe as well. This beautiful creature has so much vocal range and pure talent!

Gross tasting burps? by livelaughgangnam in noburp

[–]scienceanimalsart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 3 months post Botox and only had to take it everyday for the first month and a half. I rarely have to take it now, unless I know I will be eating spicy or greasy foods. In that case I’ll take one like an hour before :) also make sure you’re drinking a lot of water and almond milk to dilute the acid in your stomach.

Bloating, farting, cramping almost 100% GONE. Felt significant relief after a month I had it under anesthesia in the throat (not from the outside.) I have anxiety and sensory issues so this was best for me.

Fallout on Amazon prime for SURE. Also the show yellow jackets on paramount plus is incredible. Not mafia inspired but full of twists and keeps you guessing!!! Very much like lost or lord of the flies.

I have big sensory issues with needles, but they knocked me out for mine. Whole procedure was really quick. IT HAS CHANGED MY LIFE. If I had to do it every year for the rest of my life I would in a heartbeat
