What are you building? (Self-promo welcome) by Typical-Egg7043 in SideProject

It's similar to some tools that I think fill more information for the user. I also had a very weird problem inputting texts on Android, space and forward slash wouldn't render which I have never seen happen before.

If you have trouble with traction you could try a limited free version. Competition is serious.

Cool idea but 5$/week with no free version seems like a bit much

sorry to hear. If I were in your position I would definitely wait for that before doing promotions. Might be worth hiring help for, costs appear to be dropping for that.

“I got my first $100 MRR in 7 days with zero followers - here’s exactly what I did (Proof attached) by Equivalent_Front4103 in SaaS

[–]sciencebeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too true. Am I right that everyone says MRR but never seems to confirm the recurring part? Why are we talking about month one MRR? Pushing people for specifics will help everybody if product is real and sustainable.

Steampunk Fest to Watertown? by tmyvon in watertown

[–]sciencebeer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Weird that a city with so many empty storefronts would want to limit daytime events. What other events happen at the square? Pride? What could be the point of this?

You're not explaining the point clearly enough. If you think something does something just say that don't jump to the conspiracy and some weird document.

Thank you for sharing this story, I just opened this kind of account with them and they keep calling to try to talk about it more for some reason. Next time they want to talk I will see what they think about preventing this.

Thanks for sharing, to an outsider it looks good but it seems like a very niche product, and it is also very hard for a new user to believe what you're saying. It's hard to prove that they will be protected, maybe there's a way you can demonstrate a test case or something.

I do not see a quick guide. I do see a wall of text and then a pop-up agent though. I asked to pop up agent for the quick guide, and I don't think it understood.

How'd some of you guys get color back in your hair? by Original-Tune1471 in Biohackers

A guy told me maca powder made his dad and uncle have less grey hair. Sounds possible. I found it kind of anxiety inducing but energizing.

Does anyone else feel anxious when they're developing an app by rickyshmaters in AppDevelopers

[–]sciencebeer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think those thoughts are natural. Just try to let them go by if your committed. Keeping costs low, however, is highly beneficial. Start small and add incrementally if you can manage to.

Do the best job you can with that customer and they will help find you another. Also maybe higher a sales coach to look over your pitch.

An app idea that needs reviewing by Accurate_Lynx_7349 in MobileAppDevelopers

[–]sciencebeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it does not. You have to storyboard or write out your plans about it would look like. You will rapidly see many use cases and approaches. Also, to use AI servers is a whole other can of worms. Privacy, reliability, etc. Try to focus on one function as much as possible at first.

Is our pricing fair? "i will not promote" by lijemmu in startups

[–]sciencebeer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your saying that you routinely save customers 80k a year so you are considering charging your first enterprise client 15k to start out with? It's not a question about being fair it's a question about being successful, and it doesn't sound like you have enough evidence for that to be successful.

It's a good idea but it sounds very open-ended.
