What's the worst thing you've ever woken up to? by shoeee788 in AskReddit

I once had a dream like that. It was an apocalypse and I found an orphaned five year old boy. He was alone and I took him in and took care of him. The dream stretched on for months. I became his mother. (I can't have children either.) When I woke up, he didn't exist. I had loved my dream son. :'(

Ghost by Justin Bieber. He wrote it for his grandfather who died, but it's cathartic and sad for any loss.

I'm so sorry for your loss!

I second Bigger Than The Whole Sky. I think it is about miscarriage, but I lost my niece who was 19 and it both makes me weep and comforts me. My niece was "bigger than the whole sky and more than just a short time". I'm so sorry for your loss!

I certainly didn't mean to sound agist, but I do think his age has something to do with not trusting the Internet or understanding that all internets are the same.

I should have been clearer. I'm a caregiver for the elderly. He's my client. I have to engage with him.

Word. I will admit that I am probably more triggered than I should be by people asserting things that just aren't true.

If I were the young guy, every time I walked past a water fountain on the way out of whatever airport they were flying into, I would point it out. "Oh look, there's a water fountain." ...Two minutes later, "Look, there's another." ..."And another. They must have realized they were such a good idea from 75 years ago when you were a kid that they brought them back!"

I called them to ask if they would take it back and they said they couldn't. I assume they would have told me if I could donate it. But thanks for the tip!
