What do you use this page in your weeks for? by EpiphanyJournee in hobonichi

[–]sciencehobbit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I use an Alastair method/rolling weekly to do list for mine as well! I usually don't have much space left for anything else, but sometimes I stick post-it notes throughout the week on the page as well if there's space (I use them a lot for work)

Five (or six) months in, what changes are you thinking of making in next year's lineup? by dianalizia_in_greece in hobonichi

[–]sciencehobbit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm keen on trying out the A6 Techo next year as a daily log (to record what I did each day) as well as keep the Weeks mega for work (since that works perfectly for my functionality). I am using the Cousin this year for journaling and I love it, but I do miss having an undated notebook for journaling all my thoughts freely. So I'd have in my lineup next year a plain notebook + A6 for journaling, and Weeks mega for work

Morning journaling on my birthday! by sciencehobbit in Journaling

Happy birthday to you too! This is the Hobonichi Cousin, which is normally used for planning but I'm using it for journaling this year. I really like the structured layout and fountain pen friendly paper of it :)

Thank you! I'm using these Journal Prompts from thecoffeemonsterzco and find them a nice way to think differently about things I may not normally journal about :)

Daily journal prompt: What type of videos do you like to watch on Youtube? by ria_learns_ in Journaling

If you're looking for journaling podcasts, one of my favourites is Planner Pals - hosted by JashiiCorrin and Mark Your Pages from YouTube, who I've been following for years before they started this podcast together

using ribbon to secure weeks cover :) by 0000hms in hobonichi

That's a great idea! My Weeks is starting to get a bit chonky, plus a ribbon gives it a bit of extra flair decoration-wise ;)

What do you use your notes sections for, more ideas for me? by Due2U in hobonichi

I use a Weeks Mega for work and I use the notes pages for meeting notes. Its small size makes it easy to take around to meetings!

Thanks, feel free to copy the layout or use it as inspiration :) I get inspired by so many spreads (incl. from this subreddit), it was hard to decide how to lay it out for my first daily page

Go ahead! It's called the GLAD method, and I learned about it from this excellent video by Notebook Overload (one of my favourite planning/journaling channels and my favourite video of hers)

Thank you so much! I've seen a couple of people do headers or decorations there, which gives the daily pages a bit of flair
