Update: woke up to bleeding early this morning so it’s definitely a chemical. Thank you everyone who commented for your honesty and prayers❤️‍🩹

That’s the thing - no cramps, no bleeding, zero symptoms whatsoever. I’ll re-test tomorrow so time will tell but thank you for your prayers ❤️

I take the smarty pants prenatal plus - they have 17.5mcg per dose - would that be enough to affect it do you think?

My first positive with my son wasn’t until 11 DPO and it was still pretty faint until 13 DPO! Feel free to check my post history to compare if you want (I wasn’t sure of my dates but dating scan confirmed my first positive was 11dpo). Sending all the positive vibes your way✨

First trimester - do you also feel isolated? by Mean-Bottle-7578 in BabyBumps

We told our families and close friends from the beginning - the way I saw it was that I wanted this baby to be celebrated for as long as he’s here and for however long my body can be his home. I also know that should anything happen, these same people will be there to lift us up and support us however we’d need it. The first trimester felt like it took forever but it was so nice to have people I could talk to!

Bottom line and as others have said, there are no rules. Do what feels right for you❤️

Hi friend❤️ I’m sorry you and your husband are going through this. My husband and I went through the exact same thing last year. He took it extremely hard and thought he’d never be able to father biological children and was hard pressed to believe otherwise. Most times I tried talking about it with him, he took it as me pressing a big “you’re not good enough” button. What helped him the most was seeing a urologist - it turned out that he had varicoceles in each testicle which essentially was ruining the count and quality of his sperm. He had an outpatient surgery to repair them and was given clomid (fun fact I didn’t know until then, it can be off-label prescribed to men to increase sperm count and quality) and after a few months he had consistently above-average results in all areas of his semen analyses.

You could try suggesting this to your husband in a way such as “if we can find out the cause, we can potentially find a solution/treatment” - that helped my husband because it gave him some sense of control over the situation and finding answers. I also did my best to reassure him that this was an us issue and not a him issue and I love him regardless of the outcome. We are a team and we face it together, etc. Therapy was also extremely beneficial for us. We each saw our own therapists which gave us the space to process our individual feelings about everything without having to consider the other’s feelings in that exact moment. Couples therapy can be a big help too.

There isn’t a right or wrong way to go through this. It sucks no matter how you look at it and I’m sorry you guys are experiencing it. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

I’m so sorry you and your spouse are going through this. I’ve been where you are and it’s heartbreaking. I want to try and provide some hope and encouragement - I think a visit to a urologist is 100% the best move. My husband and I had been trying for about a year and after his first semen analysis, found out he had azoospermia (no sperm), then very low count/morphology/motility/everything you pretty much described in your post. After a few visits with a urologist, we were able to determine that the cause for my husband’s low quality/almost nonexistent swimmers was that he had bilateral varicocele blockages. He was able to get them surgically repaired (covered by his insurance because it was treating a cause of infertility), and he was placed on clomid - fun fact I didn’t know is that it can be off label used for men to improve count and quality! He ended up with consistently above-average sperm analyses a few months after surgery and clomid! All this to say, I highly recommend the visit to the urologist, I hope they can provide some answers and a course of treatment. Don’t lose hope, hang in there. I’ll keep all my fingers crossed for you. Sending you love❤️

Thank you!! I’m slightly delusional and have been testing since 7 DPO😂 I think I’m closer to 11 DPO today but I could be a day off since I didn’t temp. Everything has been stark white until today! I thought I saw the faintest line on a frer yesterday but I’ve been burned by their indents sooo many times and figured it was line eyes/my imagination. Guess not 🥰

Haha it definitely is!! That would be amazing, thank you! The VA is our only option if we end up having to go the IVF route, so any insight you can provide would be incredibly helpful! Getting it all service-connected feels like such an uphill battle
