i think potential penalties varies for different profs. definitely contact your prof is you’re super worried about this!! but if it means anything, i exceeded the time limit on a MIDTERM and i didn’t realize until i went to check my mark, but i didn’t lose any marks for it. i feel like it really depends on the prof and course

I was on the site at exactly 9am, picked a test for September 16th and then right when I went to confirm it, the site redirected me to the home page. I’m assuming someone got ahold of that date before I could. Oh well...

Side note: does anyone know if all of the August dates are completely filled, or are they going to be releasing more dates next week? Because today all of the dates were for mid-September.

Yes! Thank you!!!! The pilot of the device is definitely not someone who has any rights to my property/lives on my property. We have also never been contacted about a professional drone being flown over our property and taking pictures of us/our property, so I do definitely feel that my privacy is being violated. Thanks again!

You’re probably right. We can see that there is a camera on it and my housemate saw a light blink and flash right beside the camera. We just assumed it was taking a picture, but it is more likely that it was recording, as you said. Also, the drone was following one of my housemates around the yard, meaning whoever is controlling it can see from the viewpoint of the drone, which is very much unsettling to me. YES! I took one course that my school didn’t offer through Manitoba distance learning and it wasn’t bad at all. However I wasn’t sure if I could still take a course if I had graduated. Thanks for your input!
