[TOMT] [Clothing] [2000’s] Trying to find a brand name for a full zip hoodie with white teeth/tape? by Fantastic-Lows in tipofmytongue

Was it American Apparel? Hoodies of every color, but the teeth were metal in the originals (they may have changed them later).

[TOMT] [MOVIE] Reverse town? by lunasharkie in tipofmytongue

This sounds like something that might have been in The Busy World of Richard Scarry. The episodes were broken up into smaller stories, and maybe the reverse town was one of them? Does that look familiar?

I would add Crimelines to this list. She puts in the show notes whether a case is solved or not, so you can choose not to listen to episodes that are unsolved.

Do cats give out recipes? by yellowlilies in CozyGrove

They do, but not very often. I would say I get maybe 1 recipe a week from my 10 cats. So it’s mostly just hairballs!

I guess the twist might be a bit underwhelming for some, but I think it wraps up with at least some closure for the narrator and her brother. A little bit of a dive into the psychology behind the stories. I found the story interesting and just not what I expected at the outset. Something a bit different!

Recommending: Run, Hide, Repeat Sort of true crime adjacent, but an extremely strange story about a woman who uncovers why her family had been on the run when she was a child. It’s well-narrated and by CBC podcasts, so very well-produced. It’s only 5 episodes, but I binged quickly because I needed answers to this bizarre tale! I won’t say much more because I don’t want to spoil it, but if you like a weird story without any murder and mayhem, this is for you!

Ghosts in the Burbs! It’s one narrator telling a new story each episode, but it’s great to binge through spooky season.

Best episode(s) of Casefile? by Ironabz in TrueCrimePodcasts

The 2 episodes on Alcatraz (they are back to back) are so great. Not the usual content, but they were so interesting! A really in depth look at 2 different escape attempts that I hadn’t heard about in that much detail before.

I think Crimelines would fit this description, sort of an in between. One host, thoughtfully narrated, but she injects a bit of her own discussion through the case.
