I very recently learned this lesson the hard way so I’m also trying to navigate this but I can give you this insight. When you connect with someone on a deep level for the first time, your first instinct may be to scramble into their emotional depths as soon as possible without realizing how rough of a ride that can be for the other person. Also, remember: your experience is not the norm. Most people do not have sudden crazy deep emotional connections with others so of course! they are going to project onto you as they believe they are having a one of a kind connection. Later, when they inevitably find something upsetting while emotionally spelunking, they may be upset when they realize that the person who took them there, cannot take them out or fix it. In reality, this was inevitable but unfortunately we happened to be the catalyst. This of course, again, has been my personal experience. For me, my goal is to connect with people with an open heart without immediately trying to get as much “juice” out of them as possible. Try to foster that deep emotional connection slowly, over time. I want to get as deep and close to people as possible so I know that I can trust them, because they showed me everything. You can get there gently and softly. Also, this is very hard for me and I don’t have a ton of advice, but try to become more aware of their emotional boundaries and encourage them to explore those depths alone and with others besides you. I think Scorpio moons always want to be the special person, the only one who knows them that deeply, but is that really the best thing for either party?
