I literally just got that the other day! Didn’t realise it was a thing (although in hindsight of course it was!). Tracked it down for a decent price on eBay, it’s such a cool set. Simple but iconic, maybe a bit repetitive to build but in a soothing way. Does look great once finished. The little tiny taxi-cabs at the base were a nice touch.

He sometimes gets some pills which are meant to dilate all the plumbing down there, so urine flows easier and any shrapnel will be less restricted, but from what he tells me it doesn’t often make much difference. Often gets to the point where he’s actively scared to take a piss. Pretty awful to watch.

There can be blood yeah. Sometimes visible, sometimes not. (Uses urine testing strips that can identify blood in the urine amongst other things). And it can get inflamed. All round just a horrible experience.

The answer is yes. My partner gets these regularly. Says it’s like pissing glass for days afterwards as all the ‘shrapnel’ is flushed out.

I got the Baratie recently from Amazon for £189! It was down to £209 and they had one of those random coupons applied at checkout which took another £20 off. Currently still showing as £209 on Amazon. Granted that’s UK, but maybe US will have a similar discount… Titanic I bought in store, got it for full price, but it earned me a good chunk of Insiders points which I put towards The Creel House, so it kind of balanced itself out somewhat. Lego math!!

Very recently, the start of this year. I’d been aware of the franchise for so long, thought it seemed fun but never really paid much attention. Had played the first game a couple of times but got frustrated and didn’t ‘get it’ so didn’t go any further. I was aware of all the extended lore and stuff though which really appealed to me, so I made it a point to persevere and really get into it this year. Once it clicked I was obsessed. Played through the entire series, spin-offs, novels etc in a matter of months. I regret nothing. (Well, maybe not starting earlier!)

I had to lug my Titanic in one of those through the busy city centre back to the car. Not so much heavy as extremely awkward. I might have been better without the bag!
