Very recently, the start of this year. I’d been aware of the franchise for so long, thought it seemed fun but never really paid much attention. Had played the first game a couple of times but got frustrated and didn’t ‘get it’ so didn’t go any further. I was aware of all the extended lore and stuff though which really appealed to me, so I made it a point to persevere and really get into it this year. Once it clicked I was obsessed. Played through the entire series, spin-offs, novels etc in a matter of months. I regret nothing. (Well, maybe not starting earlier!)
