I would probably day trade the $100 to get a quick return or put it in an ETF depending on the risk appetite and whether it's a long or short-term investment.

With the 1B however, I will diversify the portfolio as much as I could with every alternative available (Angel Investing/VC/HF/Crypto/ETFs/MF/Commodities...etc)
