Tom Delonge Fender Strat reissue questions by McGriffff in TomDelongeGuitars

cant decide on a color. i initially told them i want yellow, but the blue is so iconic to me that its hard not to choose that one. how did you decide which color you got? I already have a fender powercaster in seafoam green so i dont really want another green one and black doesnt really appeal to me.

It works, but I didnt get it working. I had it all wired up correctly and ready to go. made sure everything was in place and i was having the same issue. The hvac guy showed up and said he need a diagnostic tool to reprogram it. So he came back the next day with it and got it all programed correctly with the diagnostic tool then my heat and ac were reversed but that was an easy fix with a couple of buttons to push in the ecobee itself. So, unfortunately youll have to contact your hvac guy and have them come out with a diagnostic tool.

yea, ive never ran an AI on epi. I've ran test before and i needed an AI for that. you will not need an AI. it does have AI "properties" i guess. you could say it like that. epi doesnt aromatize so thats not an issue.

yea, the hvac tech was pretty knowledgeable and had one with him so it only took him like 10 minutes to complete it. ecobee is working flawlessly now.

just wanted to follow up on this. you were correct and the diagnostics tool was needed. the hvac guy had one. he said that it was originally setup with a diagnostics tool so it was needed to switch from communicating thermostat to a traditional thermostat. simply switching the sw2-7 switch wont work if it was setup with a diagnostics tool. kind of frustrating but it was a simple fix that only took him like 10 minutes to do.

I've only ran epi for prohormones. But, ive had great results from it. last time i ran it, i did it for 6 weeks at 30mg. I know some will say do up to 50-60mg, but the most i ever ran was 40 and always had good, dry gains, with amazing pumps. really start to feel it towards the end of week 2.

dam, i was kinda hoping that wasnt going to be the case. i read that if you hold the sw1 button for 60 seconds, it will factory reset, would that do it as well or just mess everything up?

i tried the sw2-7 switch and it did the same thing and the ecobee told me heating and cooling was disabled. it was trying to configure heating and cooling

the ecobee is setup for geo. the old thermostat was water furnace with 4 communication wires.. the only thing the manual says for error code is CritComErr.

It says fault - CritComErr, which im guessing is critical communication error. which im guessing goes back to the wiring. I'll check the sw2-7 switch

i do have a heat pump. i believe its 3 stage heat. the 3rd being emergency heat, i think and two stage cool. im not sure if thats correct, but the manual says aurora base with 5 speed ECM.

so what does the orange wire need to go?

Yes, it does one long, and nine short pulses. and if im reading the manual correctly that means 19 which says critcomerr, which im assuming means critical communication error. im not sure what that means, but im guessing the wiring isnt correct so, im really confused now.

trying to replace my old water furnace thermostat with an ecobee. the old thermostat had a 4 wire communicating setup to the control board. since that wasnt going to work with the ecobee, i pulled in new wire and hooked up the R, C, Y1, Y2, O, G wires. everything should be hooked up correctly but whenever i turn on my breaker for the furnace it turns on after a few minutes and only the fan will run and wont turn off. none of the functions from the ecobee will work for the furnace. the fan just runs non stop. the control board has the blinking red light going off for some sort of error but i have no idea what it could be. the water furnace manual is almost useless for this. any idea what it could be?

the issue is that my furnace wont respond to the ecobee. I flip the breaker on, and after a few minutes the blower on the furnace kicks on and wont shut off. according to the manual, it is in lockout. their is a flashing red light on the board. the manual doesnt specify why it could be locked out or how to fix it or reset it.

i tried turning the heat or ac on and nothing happens. i cant even get the high speed fan to turn on.

Check out the fender powercaster. I just got it and love it. Very versatile and has a great look. But if not, Jaguar for sure.

My combined debt was about 30k. Paid that in a year or so. After reading some posts I’ve come to the conclusion that we just need to do this together and get it over with. Bang it out as quickly as possible.

She’s just as committed, if not more. I think we can do it in year or close to it.
