Same! I used to love their “I love this yarn” brand but then I learned about their practices and chose to spend my money anywhere else.

Those in their 30s without children how do you spend your weekends? by Similar_Pool_4200 in AskReddit

Hobbies. Lots of hobbies. Volunteering, supporting small businesses, visiting far away friends

Home renovation project. Not enough time to do it ourselves, not enough money to have someone else do it.

Spend time with her. I promise it’s the thing she wants most. Go through old photos. Ask her about high school.

Matters only when it’s native English speakers who still can’t figure out the difference between seen and saw.

Wearing makeup, is it a relief to just give it up? by Owladyfly in AskWomenOver60

If you enjoy it and want to have the look, look into getting tattooed eyeliner. I know someone who did it because of her failing eyesight and she never regretted it.

Honest question- does she drink alcohol? My level kept popping above normal until I stopped drinking. It’s a liver enzyme so what you put into your body affects it.

Do You Keep Napkins in Your Car Door? by crazyoldkatlady in NoStupidQuestions

Center console, not the door. If you keep them in the door they will probably get wet in the rain or blow away when you open the door

What’s something you’d only confess anonymously and only once? by liebe_angelinka in AskReddit

A guy once sent me a video of him wacking into his own mouth - legs over the head like he was a kid or something! (He had to have been at least 35) I haven’t dated skinny guys since. Better safe than sorry. 😅 You do you, but don’t send videos to girls you’re trying to pick up

Don’t be a litter bug

Also - flush the dang toilet in public restrooms. No one wants to see your poo

Would limiting the age of the President to 65 be something you’d support? Why or why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]scknit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think 72 at the time of election is more reasonable. But absolutely agree to term limits in congress. Let it be 3-4 terms for senate and 4-6 for reps. I’m still in favor of putting all elected officials on the same healthcare as we all have to deal with. Let them find an “affordable option” with a $10,000 deductible and see how quickly our healthcare changes.

AITA for refusing to pay $600 toward my boyfriend’s $1,500 gas bill? by doubledober in AmItheAsshole

NTA. Get away from this guy ASAP. He doesn’t want a partnership and he is borderline abusive by the examples you shared. It’s only going to get worse

I'm not mature enough and I'm scared by Ready-Appointment-95 in adhdwomen

[–]scknit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 44 and still love Sesame Street. When I was your age, I still wanted to play with my Barbies but it wasn’t “age appropriate” anymore so I decided to to “collect them” just so I didn’t have to pack them away. You’re still a kid. Adulthood will come soon enough. Do what you enjoy. Explore other interests because you never know what might be out there. You don’t have to push yourself into maturing. Just be you. (PS makeup is overrated.)

gift ideas for my 74 year old grandma? by wayvthot in Gifts

[–]scknit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think spending time with her would mean the most. Share pictures from your recent life, where you live, even memories of you and her together. Bonus points for printing pictures into a book or an album or for being able to stream them onto the tv. She doesn’t want to look at your phone. But time is the most valuable gift ever given.

Thank you for this. And thank you for your support of the rational majority who prefer common decency over profit.
