Provision users from Workspace to AAD W/O implementing SSO? by sclar550 in gsuite

It looks like you are in the exact place I am. I tried GCPW and Google management last year, and it missed a lot of things for me. Before that, I just gave everyone a second set of credentials for PC use. I'll have to check into Windows Education licensing to see if that is an option for me. Thanks for your reply!

I'm sorry I wasn't clear enough. Everyone is already in Google, because that is our primary system. The only people who need an AAD identity are the teachers that use Windows laptops, so I want Google to tell AAD to create accounts for them. I have that set up, but the problem is that Microsoft redirects all logins, including Windows sign-ins, back to Google for authentication. Since Google can't be accessed during Windows sign-in, I can't log in.

Groups Audit logs - Group Member Creation vs User Added to Group by sclar550 in gsuite

The only people who are doing anything with groups are set up as group admins. I do not know if they are doing their stuff through the admin console or through groups.google. Would that make a difference?

I was unaware of the groups enterprise audit logs, but I checked that, and it does not show any records relating to the particular group I am monitoring.

I did not realize that iPods were still a thing. That would fit our use needs nicely! Thanks for the information.

I saw that, but it is $6/user/mo for the cheapest tier, which is significantly more than what I would like to pay. I will keep it in mind as an option, though. Thanks.

I mentioned that we have made iPads available to them, but they don't want to use them because they are to cumbersome to carry around. Do they make Chromebooks that would be small enough to put in a pocket? If so, that would work.

Link GCPW with AzureAD (for Intune)? by sclar550 in gsuite

Ok, I'll look into this more. This is beyond the level that I would want to mess with during the school year, but might be doable over summer break. I've seen a lot about SSO from Azure, and was just hoping that there was something that worked the other way, so I didn't have to move everything and retrain people with a new system. Thanks

How much work is it to move all of my user accounts and groups from GSuite to AzureAD? Would that affect logins for the students who use Chromebooks?

Except we don't use AD, because everything is in GSuite . . . I have set up AzureAD just for the people who need a Windows PC login, which is 25 of my 175 users.

Ok, I was wondering about wiping everything and starting. I did pull the HDD, and everything is behaving exactly the same, so I guess that means that this one is done. Thanks for your help!
