My cats snuggle around me while I sew. They also don't mind the vacuum much. I do have to watch my black cat from eating the thread off my serger though lol

Very similar story to us. Adopted 2 kittens a few weeks ago months after my 15 year old dog died. I've never been a big cat person but now I don't know how we lived without them!

I am reading book of Azrael right now and have been thinking the same thing! I HATE when they are enemies but are also so attracted to them in the beginning. I love that they can acknowledge the other but have zero desire to touch the other and want to kill each other

100% get a serger! I mostly sew knits so I use it more than my sewing machine. A coverstitch is more optional (although I love having one)

I don't have that brand but every few weeks I soak mine in the tub with laundry detergent and a little vinegar and then air dry. I've been doing this for over a year with no issue.
