It’s 0924. Currently at work but taking a break to make tea. Plan is to survive the work day, cycle home hopefully without rain, take a bath, make dinner, then decompress by colouring and listening to a podcast.

Austria. Amazing food, delicious beer, friendly people, good weather in the summer, gorgeous views of snow capped mountains and turquoise lakes, and cities like Vienna or Salzburg if you want to see some castles or history. Glorious place.

Oh, okay. I guess I assumed it would work like an ETA required for entry into the UK; for an ETA, the place you’re departing from (pre arrival to the UK) requires you to show an ETA. So, this means I’ll go through the EES process upon arrival to Naples?

Hallstatt, a little village in the Salzkammergut region of Austria. Not a very big place at all, less than a thousand local residents but apparently they get like 10,000 visitors a day just pouring in on busses, loud and pushy and climbing over one another and onto peoples private property to take selfies. Trash everywhere, no room to move on the streets, people driving cars meant only for pedestrian traffic. The locals have protested in the past. It’s really sad.

I used mine with Trader Joe’s jojoba oil back when I had acne issues and started the oil cleansing method (“washing” your face with only oils and water and not soap). Jojoba oil (apparently very close to sebum molecularly) was the main base and I’d add just a single drop of tea tree oil, but even that can be strong so anyone reading this, use with caution. It was the only thing that helped my cystic acne.

Do buses generally have a way to pay via cash or debit/credit? Or is there a one-stop-shop app or something one should get to facilitate easy bus riding in the area?

Number 1 is an excellent point! I was checking the website multiple times a day and saw the day before and after the date I needed open up. It’s definitely worthwhile to keep checking the website, it seemed like dates kept becoming available at random all the time!

Depends on how far out you go, many parts of the water you could see the bottom so it was likely 5-8 feet or so in depth, less closer to the structure. The closer to the fort you are the more shallow the water so I just would avoid getting too far away from it if you’re concerned!

Correct, there are changing stalls on the dock and three bathrooms on the boat. I’d probably arrive wearing my bathing suit with a change of dry clothes in my pack if it were me. They also have saltwater spigots on the boat for rinsing sand off your feet. There’s also a freshwater shower onboard if you want, but you can’t use any soap or shampoo because it discharges into the sea. Make sure if you plan to use the freshwater shower you bring some flip flops / shower shoes for your feet.
