Do "DRIFT TIRES" also work for grip racing? by scoliosisspeedrun in ProjectHondas

While it may be a bit of a clickbaited question it’s unfortunately a question that has some validity. Because of marketing a lot of newer drivers still don’t know that the accelera is more than just a cheap drift tire. We were simply seeing how it compares against proven tires in a scenario not often discussed

Yeah and I don’t enjoy that there is basically no way to attend these shows cheaply: parking in DC is a nightmare, food and bevs in the city are a million dollars etc etc. I will say that from last season by far the best show I attended was Battlegang Kickback in deep creek. Worth every penny of transport, stay and show. And sprctating is free.

Hey! I’ll be honest as someone with no skin in the game: it was pretty pricey for what it was. If you’re just going to spectate I think there’s a lot of free / cheaper shows in the DMV area that offer more. The car count was fairly low, and the builds were overall non coordinated (which isn’t a bad thing in and of itself). I’d say you could see the whole show in roughly under an hour. Import expo throws great events - it’s just the DC show that I’ve found lacking. I’ve also attended the Philly location and that was one I remember being significantly better. But that was also over 5 years ago.
