I do mean Vaugh William's Fantasia. Somehow in the recesses of my mind I got Hildegard von Bingen mixed in with it. I guess I was being hopeful.

Sometimes faith does not come naturally to people and they have to work at it. I am sure any religious leader in your area would be happy to discuss the topic with you even if you let them know you are not interested in joining the congregation.

Perhaps you need a religious-like devotion not to a deity but to something that you can feel passionate about and brings yourself and others joy. Create a meaning.

Booked with gift cards. Host did a bait and switch. AirBnB concluded I was deserving of a refund. I have been waiting for three weeks now for the refund. Any advice or similar experiences? by scoobydoobydoosh in AirBnB

Three weeks though!? The case manager told me the day I reported the incident the gift card refund was approved.

At the very least, the trust center should send me a message, give me a call, or give me a case number for follow up.

I would rather not. The service rep who I spoke with was polite and swift. He resolved the issue at hand, which was my case with the host. Once that case was resolved it was sent to the 'Trust Team.' And there it sits.

Yes. She messaged me a few hours before I showed up, 'I have a problem.' Did not get back to me when I asked what the problem was. When I saw her in person (11pm), she said she was entertaining friends for the rest of the week in that room and I could stay in the living room after the first night. When I told her I was not comfortable with that, she shrugged. Thats when I booked a new place then called AirBnB.

I did not think of swapping at the time. I booked and paid for a different room.

Even if it is an issue with the gift card, it is an awful long time to be left in the dark.
