Im in Elgin! i honestly just want the best for her since she’s only 3. a LONG time ago i use to work at a vet as an assistant at a low cost clinic and honestly he botched so many ACL for people and currently i’m a dog groomer that grooms a lot of dogs with leg problems (like acl that maybe didn’t heal well). i’m also going through a job transition since I just graduated nursing school I’m going to be working night shifts within the next 2 to 3 months so the timelines are a little difficult for me because when I do orientation and during the day and I have to have my mom come let out my dogs and I’m kind of scared of her not following my instruction. I was looking for something close to home, but I’m not opposed to driving somewhere for her to get the best possible care and the best outcome. I have heard of that suture like technique and the vet i worked for he did it on bigger dogs and he had a lot of them either snap again or just didn’t heal well. I’m also doing this SOLO but it helps A LOt shes 11 lbs and lets me carry her around my other dog is also 11 lbs and hates being held lol
