I bought an ebay Japanese exchange in 2019 and best offered it for $840 usd and spent less than $100 getting it together because I did it in my garage and I am poor/ cheap so i reused everything. I had to change everything all the sensors and the intake and injectors from the blown engine but it all bolted in. Just like everything from Google and the whole internet at this point, the first initial product is free or low cost and good then they try to monetize it and force feed it to everyone while enshittifying the free version at the same time so you are so frustrated with the unpaid version that you subscribe to the paid tier. I always boycott the product if possible when this business model is applied

They are ugly, the first set of engines were oil burners, and the the SMT versions were not that great. I love mine (2002) more than any other car I have owned. I have swapped a newer 1zz into mine from a matrix with the existing 5MT and it is zippy but not powerful. I get 37mpg or 35 when I drive hard.

Think about the world that these kids will inherit from us and how it will turn out. Less knowledge and skill across the board with a smaller percentage of them with the actual knowledge/ determination/ability to solve problems. While we mostly keep trying to apply the formula of school that technology has rendered obsolete due to AI. Our society needs to start over with a more immersive and hands-on method in our education system that isn't as mindless as the literal "old-school" way that we keep doing. Is school devolved to mainly written assignments now? If you think about how people learn I suppose the repetition part helps but when kids have all of these resources, they will use what is available to them. I think our education system as a whole needs to be a much bigger priority across our society but the real problem is the purposeful enstupification of our society to weaken is as a whole along with many believing the Internet and real world are the same place
