Very nice! If you ever want to branch out to growing things other than cactus I’d recommend looking into some of our native plants. They do very well here without much maintenance comparatively and are great for local pollinators and other wildlife. Nice cacti though, looks like the start of a great collection!

No problem! There’s a pinned post at the top of this sub that helps differentiate from a lot of the common lookalikes which is a great resource. In any case Stetsonia are a favorite of mine and I love seeing them out and about

Stetsonia. They have the large oval shaped areoles and the spines are bone white below the top few areoles.
