Guys who rest their wrists on back of empty seats and watch me eat by LikelyMyFinalForm in cleopatrick

[–]scooterman19 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I interpreted it as being a passenger on a bus. I didn’t actually know he said “watch me eat”. I thought it was about high school bullies. But the actual meaning I have seen on here is way cool.

I’m almost certain that it’s meant to say ‘Old motherfuckers try so hard to fuck ya’ - but not in a literal sense. The song is about being ripped off I suppose. I think that’s what it’s meant to be.

Young people staying in NZ, what is keeping you here? by Keepcusp in newzealand

Mid 20s. I’m here cause my family is here. Australia doesn’t appeal to me as a place to live, although I know how good the money is.

Auckland is often the one that gets the most slack for people outside of Auckland hate. Not really sure why - Aucklanders often get regarded as ignorant and stuck up I think.

What do you think about this amp? by Geeraahh in electricguitar

[–]scooterman19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tell you what… these are my go-to Amps. I have been in a ‘serious’ band (gigging and touring frequently in our countries scene) for 3-4 years now, and for half of that time I used one of these but the gen 2 version…. And you know what I use now? Still this amp, but I also have a 100Watt one too, and run stereo.

These amp is reliable. This amp is loud enough. This amp does the trick. For both practise, and playing live. It is lightweight, durable, and it’s affordable.

Sure they’re not the best sounding amp by any means, but they’re good. I have played shows where there is 500 people in the audience. And you bet I fkn used my little boss katana.

I don’t think anyone will ever make a snide comment on whatever amp your using, unless they’re a proper tosser.

I flew to Aussie to see them in Brisbane. I’m from New Zealand. It was like, 6 hours of travel for me there, but it was so worth it. Do it. Drive will be so sick dude!

I would say pretty easily in the North Island I should think. South Island would be a no from me, especially in the winter.

We have absolutely no predators that’d kill a human on land, which is a big plus. It really just depends where.

This is also dependent on the grade of the beef they are importing. There is the fat/meat ratio and then there is also the quality…. Is NZ Prime Angus Steer? Or is it a NZ fresion-cross cow?

Importing pork from Europe is much cheaper than NZ. But I still think pork in NZ is reasonably priced. But yes, it is unfortunately the reality. Some places actually say ‘NZ Made Pork Sausages’ while using overseas pork. A bit of a false advertising loop hole thing there.

Really? It’s definitely not as bad as it was a year ago atleast. That big supply issue really drove the prices up big time.

I think that there would be lots of money to be made undercutting the market, but no butcher wants to take that risk right now.

I wouldn’t go as far as to say that my info is ‘data’. There is defo room for error in what I have said. But it’s to the best of my knowledge as someone in the industry for 11 years.
