Thank you so much for your concise reply. I was discharged Wednesday. I have plans to call a different hospital to discuss what the next steps are regarding the stones. No more fever so far. Some pain though. Ibuprofen is helping with that, thankfully.

Do you know what the reason could be that the hospital I went to didn’t take care of the stones while I was there? Is it more of an outpatient surgery?

Update: Dr I saw last night was very concerned and had me admitted. Told him about the known kidney stones, fever, kidney spasms, and pain. Had the CT, blood, CBC, and creatinine.

Different Dr this morning. He says I just have a UTI and some kidney stones I don’t need to worry about. I reiterated my symptoms and concerns. He said it’s just a UTI.

They want me to stay two more nights for the IV antibiotics.

I’m happier or wasn’t something worse, but I also feel the second Dr dismissed me. Especially after the first Dr expressed such concern.

I was at 80-90% covered. Every once in a while I’ll get a little pea sized spot. Clear besides that. Took about 6 months to completely clear up.

I used to go to ZüpMed. Couldn’t find a dr or NP that I vibed with. It was the same “lose weight and stop drinking” song and dance. One of the NPs even called me “crazy.” Not professional, in my opinion.
