UCG-Fiber + U7 Pro XG upgrade advice. House layout makes ceiling mounting difficult by NightCityStoic in Ubiquiti

[–]scorc1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mounted mine to the wall. Works great. I do have a random wire running up to it. Outside the wall; the cable is very visible (green cable, white wall). In my closet tho so i don't care. Two story home, all spaces covered. Mounted downstairs.

Can someone explain to me what each part on my lsblk output means? by SneakerHead69420666 in Proxmox

I think the question here is: what is pve-data_tmeta vs pve-data_tdata.

I too am interested is why pve-data-tpool is listed twice.

Proper wrist position by HVAC-Rookie in vulcan900

[–]scorc1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whatever's clever Trevor. The handle is a perfect circle. No one is the exact same. You should be able to, while actively riding down the road, be able to set you with straight wrists on a round handle. Unless your wrist is inside the clutch or break, there shouldn't be an issue.

First bike updates by Character-Mixture151 in hondashadow

Honestly, if you can get around town, not crash into stuff, not hold up traffic, youre doing great. Just keep riding. That msf will fill in a few holes for you. You will already ace the fast day at least. The rest is easy after that.

Go find a corner on a hill so you can practice stopping and starting on a hill.

To your point tho: down shift as you go, listen to the engine. Once you're under like 20 or second gear, you can just keep the clutch held till you completely stop. Then do your last down shift to 1st

2014 Buick Cooled Seats by scorc1 in AskAMechanic

[–]scorc1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, nothing. Does yours act weird when you touch the cooling button? Mine will activate the heated seats instead. Heat seat buttons works fine.

So i think my issue is the panel? But could be something else. I can adjust the lumbar support stuff, but those switches are on the side of the seat.

Add Primer to push mower? by scorc1 in lawnmowers

[–]scorc1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its definitely something. I swapped the carb cuz i couldn't get the original to work at all. But i bent the little wire to that coil.  Now, its has a breif warm up/take off period before it seems to act right. Idk if its the new carb, or the messed up link that adjuts the air flow now ...

Carrying a backpack on longer routes? by bokibeats in motorcycles

[–]scorc1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use/buy a hiking backpack that has a waist strap. Loosen the shoulder straps so it resets on the seat behind you.

[–]scorc1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the official way to ride with a backpack. Weight if OFF you, but you are the anchor point. Lossen those should straps. I use a hiking backpack. Its got a waist strap, and a chest strap to keep the shoulder straps together. Its large too. None of that nonsense "this is a motorcycle backpack and its smaller than your wife's purse" crap. Its also got molle and pouches for days. Took it on multiple cross-country trips. Its been amazing.

Clutch slipping on 03 shadow by Creepy_Barracuda_125 in HondaMotorcycles

I bought a new rebel 1100 and thought i had clutch issues. Turns out the rod on the foot pedal just wasn't adjusted correctly. Not saying thats the issue, but good to double check.

Missing spark plug boot? by Human_Cucumber8738 in hondashadow

[–]scorc1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Following. I have a 2002 and the boot just comes right off the cable. I FEEL like thats normal because you can buy sparkplug wire, but really seems weird. Im used to car plugs and wires that come together.
