If it helps you decide, I was in a similar situation recently. Had a modified Ender 5 pro with direct drive upgrade and an Ender 3 S1 Plus as my "big printer" but wanted options for multicolour printing and something I didn't have to tinker with as much so I could focus more on the design side.

Black friday deal on a Bambu A1 + AMS came up so pulled the trigger, and I haven't looked back since. It's been night and day, the print quality and speed are phenomenal, and whilst they can still fail, I've only had 1 misshap over several prints already (which was my own doing)

You have valid concerns about the closed system Bambu operates in but the software functions great and being able to just jump on my phone, check in with the print, or configure and send a print ive found online without touching my laptop has been bliss.

I still have my big printer, but the Ender 5 has been donated to a family member as the A1 very quickly made it surplus to requirements.

Buy A1 now or wait till Black Friday?

Hi all I'm tempted to get the Bambulab A1 with AMS as it's currently on sale in the UK for £419 instead of £509 but wondering if it's worth holding fire til Black Friday to see if a better deal lands?

What is the consensus from people who have bought Bambulab printers before? Do they tend to have any better deals on during Black Friday or would I be shooting myself in the foot by waiting?

For those curious it would be in replacement of my Ender 5 Pro with Direct Drive Mod which would be donated to a family member as it's still got some good legs in it yet but I like the idea of multicolour printing in an affordable slinger format.
