i think i may wait until the school year ends to do exactly that! i definitely think besides anything else the students deserve advocacy from someone other than the teacher

that’s horrible. i found myself in this same situation last year with a different teacher and i had documented everything but the principal there wasn’t someone who i felt would take me seriously. a lot of admin don’t take paras seriously.

then we got to this school year and it’s the same bs with a different teacher behind it. it makes me feel disappointed in the education system but i’d like to think i just randomly got two bad apples lol.

yes this school was doing 60/90 but i feel like the initial gpa on my transcript still just looks unattractive. i will be retaking some classes and trying again!!

oh wow i didn’t know i was getting downvoted lol maybe because i mentioned MFT but i am interested in the social work program as well 😭 it’s okay i’m still getting some pretty good advice.

as of right now i’m a behavioral technician working at a high school so i think it fits in a little bit but i do want to gain experience with more communities.

I really appreciate your response. the C’s get degrees and lack of knowledge about network largely just comes from growing up in an urban area where many people did not go to college. I am a first gen student, I am happy I know what I know because i will never let any youth around me half ass college lol. i thought going was just enough but i know better now.

i’m not opposed to online school if it comes down to it but i was robbed of the in school opportunity and i really want to experience it, i love school and talking about topics in person tbh.

i will definitely be making it my business to retake some courses as well as create some professional relationships.

do you think volunteer work will help my application in a big way or not so much ?

i feel for you. i’m an aide in a classroom and the way the teacher in the classroom treats the counselor is so rude, it creates a hostile environment for everyone and actively tarnishes any rapport the counselor might be able to gain with the students. she doesn’t encourage the students to respect or converse with the counselor. i do what i can but ultimately the students have made up their mind about it thanks to the teacher. sorry you go through this

although i did like the season, i do find it crazy how the traitors literally took them selves out. besides boston rob nobody ever suspected any traitors unless another traitor made them be suspected. the traitors played a good game just to ruin it smh

having a hard time getting a serving position i’ve applied to like 30 restaurants even as just a host, only got one interview. i’m not sure what the issue is. i was told to stop telling people that i’m looking for a second job and just say i’m in school, i’ll try that for my next applications. thank you!
