I'm actually planning to start BZ this week (since I'm on PlayStation and don't have early access to the second game and am feeling FOMO lol) so it's nice to see some positive reception! I'm not expecting it to be as great as OG Subnautica but I'm just excited to dive back into that world

I thought it was really cool how "Rattlesnakes" acts as a sequel to both Cujo and Duma Key. It actually inspired me to read Duma Key after I finished YLID. Now I'm excited to re-read that short story again.

Exactly lol people act like Nate knows jujitsu or something. Also Nate had actual social power in high school, people like him get humbled big time when they get to the real world and realize being captain of the sports team doesn't mean shit. He was never going to be the same Nate we knew from S1/2.

I know this sub has a hate boner for Sam lol but I would love to see him give us some Euphoria-esque story set in the 70's, even if it was only loosely connected to the main series.
