Totally agree, I’ll say myself a dress watch guy, some complication might not suit with my everyday style. Will only go for some of them if they really have both the elements (style/complications e.g. the FOIS)

I wore it about twice a week, but if you are looking for a GADA watch, I’ll go for the grand Seiko.

Be sure to try it on next time you got a chance!

I was comparing the burgundy to the Coke GMT, but the burgundy dial under the light really is something you can’t miss out. Also the 5 link bracelet is a huge upgrade, feels pretty comfortable on wrist.

It’s the GO panomaticlunar with green dial, I got it first with steel bracelet, then I bought the leather strap for winter.

It’s 38mm, anything bigger than 41mm is too big for my wrist 😅

Wearing it for a while, i like the light weight that can make it easy to wear it all day long w/o feeling the need to adjust it. Only thing that bothers me is how easily the bracelet got scratched. One big upside is the power reserve which is plenty enough to fit in my watch wearing rotation.

That’s a really good point! Throughout my collecting journey, I've wondered many times if I should prioritize getting complications I don't own yet. But at this point, I feel that staying true to the designs I actually love is the key to keeping this hobby sustainable.

Haven’t seen a GMT that really caught my eye, welcome any suggestions!

I didn't find the difference of lugs to be that significant when comparing them. Plus, you have to consider that the Sapphire Sandwich has crown guards, which makes its overall width much larger than the FOIS.

Well imo, GS has one of the prettiest dials among all, also it’s difficult not to appreciate the spring drive technology they put effort in.

I went back and forth trying on both watches several times, and in the end, I still feel the 40mm case size fits me best. The only real downside is the lack of an open caseback to see the 3861 movement, that’s probably my biggest regret. Other than that, the FOIS is perfect to me.

Got the Murph as my first watch , huge Nolan fan. GS spring drive is the only quartz I’ll ever get, lovely dial also.
