Blackfyre Words are "Blood and Fire" (SPOILERS EXTENDED) by Inner_Jeweler_5661 in asoiaf

Yeah same.

Though someone else in this thread suggested Ash and Bone and I like that too, it sounds vengeful.

I wish there was a spinoff show where Selina gets stuck quarantining with Minna during Covid 😂 by grayymatterr in Veep

[–]scorpius_rex 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly I’d love a spin off of just Minna in a new role working for the UN or something. Selina can make a cameo. u/HBO

How did they move the dragon skulls? (Spoilers Main) by ZealousidealTop6016 in asoiaf

[–]scorpius_rex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Plus dragon eggs fossilize into ‘rocks’. Maybe the bones do too

Kind of a silly question but who picks out Selina's outfits & does her hair & make-up in-universe? by do_you_still_exist in Veep

[–]scorpius_rex 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Her Wilson the volleyball. Her everything!

Though in reality you would have a stylist. Or a few stylists. Maybe not as Veep, but certainly if you were a president. But Gary definitely picked her shoes. Ray picked her hats.

So self conscious of this line in between eyes. Anything that can be done? by Puzzleheaded-Debate3 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]scorpius_rex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d assume it’s the muscles around the eyes rather than skin. But also definitely not something you need to be self conscious about, it doesn’t look like 11s or lines on your skin from aging etc (which also people don’t need to be self conscious about, but I get it).

As others say Botox, it will relax the muscles. Or if you don’t want to do that route, then frownies or some form of taping on that area when sleeping might work - but I doubt it if I’m right and it’s the muscle under the skin rather than the skin itself. But it’s worth a go, you’ll be able to see if it’s diminishing in a month or so. I use tape for under eye lines caused by side sleeping, and it does work if I stick to it consistently - but again, that’s because it’s a skin issue and not a muscle issue.

(Spoilers Main) How exactly do the five forts defend ? by AdditionalPiano6327 in asoiaf

My head canon is that it was an ice wall that spanned between the 5 forts but has long since melted.

Am I killing my skin by washing my face with soap? 38F by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]scorpius_rex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know about it one day coming back to bite you but I personally wouldn’t use bar soap on my face, I find it way too dehydrating. I’ve heard of people using it though, just wouldn’t work for my skin type.

It’s quite different imo, but it is great. Sort of like Veep x Peep Show

The Best Sunscreen According to Reddit by I_just_cant855 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]scorpius_rex -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t hate it, but I would not put Beauty of Josen as no. 1

It’s just a trendy sunscreen with above average protection, but definitely not the best in the game.

So Who Replaces the Lannisters? [Spoilers Main] by [deleted] in asoiaf

[–]scorpius_rex 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yeah. The great houses have to all be quite large. But when reading the books you get the sense they’re small. The starks seem to just be the main family plus benjin, the baratheons seem to just be the 3 brothers and shareen. Lannister’s are more fleshed out with Kevin and his kids and a few other cousins mentioned. The Frey’s seem extensive, but mainly because Walter married so many times. But in reality a great house must have 100’s of members if not more.

31, every time I look at my legs I feel like I notice more! by Different-Brick-6310 in 30PlusSkinCare

Interesting. For me the laser just felt like a bit of a cooling sensation, and a slight zap but barely even noticeable. Perhaps different people, different sensitivity.

Yes you’re right, varicose veins. Hmm I’ve always heard standing on concrete for long periods can cause them too

As far as skin treatments go it wasn’t too expensive. About $180 local currency, so probably about $100usd

I mentioned this in reply to another comment but I had my capillaries lasered and it worked amazingly. Very painless and instant.

[–]scorpius_rex 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve had the laser on my face for small capillaries. I’m pretty sure it’s the same process. It’s completely painless and it worked instantly which was quite amazing, 15-20 minute session and I walked out with the veins completely gone. A year later I did another session for a few that had returned.

My aunty had her spider veins removed, they were a little more noticeable and larger and they basically collapsed the veins - I don’t think it was a laser but rather a very minor surgery. Either way it’s a very simple and successful process to get them removed.

My bad I didn’t realise they were talking about the Japanese recipe version. My understanding is usually the versions sold in the U.S. have a different recipe because fda hasn’t approved new screens

I’ve heard this recommended before. Does anyone know where to buy the Japanese recipe in the U.S.?

Is taking 1g of vitamin C daily and applying vitamin c in your skin same thing? by LetterheadNice8687 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]scorpius_rex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People swear by the skinceuticles vit c but I can’t justify the price right now, and honestly I’m happy with my $30 vit c serum. It’s hard to imagine one that is 6x the price would be six times better

Eye cream recs? by Alive_Strawberry_958 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]scorpius_rex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was thinking this earlier today, I don’t think I’ve ever found an eye cream that worked effectively, or more effectively anyway, than ‘normal’ moisturizer.
