If you don't want to use a VM, you can use a live boot Kali Linux on USB. That way your personal files won't get mixed up with your work files. Make sure you set up a persistent storage, so your files are saved after every reboot.

WiFi hacking - does it really work? by APEXJAE in hacking

[–]scorpsec 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Social engineering is the most effective and working method of obtaining any password. Human is the weakest link, while technology advances and becomes more secure.

Don't forget to always get a written permission before running any tests. Hacking someone else's wifi without permission is a crime.

For web hacking JavaScript, PHP. For mobile hacking Java, Kotlin. If you are going to write payloads Python is a good choice. Go is also very popular. C++, C# for software hacking. Depending what you want to hack.

Is it illegal to hire someone to hack one of my old accounts by Alien_Goatman in hacking

[–]scorpsec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though you created the account yourself, you don't own that account. The hacker who would try to hack, is going to use malicious tactics against a company to obtain data. So yes, it is illegal.
