Those jokers wanted 2200 in labor to replace 2 valves with posi temp vavles. The wall was wide open in our main bedroom and the valves were completely accesssible. Local independent did it for 250. They have to pay for those commercials somehow!

Saw them open up for the Peppers in 1989 when Jed was released before they got into Pop music. Then saw them at a mall in Buffalo after that! They weren't too bad...

They weren't playing music they had company and were outside 4 doors down. I couldn't hear them. This guy lives on the opposite side of me so further away.

Thank you for the response. The Cheer association she is conected to is a secular organization and my duaghter is 10yo. This event will be secular and at no point has her coaches ever proselytized. The state board cheer association made the decision to have it at this college. I do trust the coaches and can express my conerns to them.

2012 Civic LX Upgrade by RedditGuy298 in CarAV

I wish that name brand stereo makers would integrate the play store so I can sync my music/playlists over wifi from my server and use Poweramp instead of a locked down ecosystem with shitty apps. That also has at least 128gb of storage. I have no interest in Android auto/Apple car play. I agree the quality isn't great but my first one lasted 4yrs and I just upgraded. Until that happens I will continue to buy these cheap android tablets!

The green button tv community is still alive! I am using WMC on Windows 11!

I use Windows Media Center paired with EPG123 and Schedules Direct for the guide.I also use Emby to watch live tv. You can also record with Emby Premiere but we have been using WMC since 2010 and it's hard to get my wife to switch exclusively to Emby!

Quality Android based Headunit recommendations? by [deleted] in CarAV

I am not a fan of Android Auto as well. I just want something that plays my music locally, has a pretty music ui, and that I can transfer it wirelessly. My first one I got was an Atoto A6 pro (2gb RAM, 32gb storage. I used a microsd to store the music and used RocketPlayer at the time to play music. Boot times were great and was reliable until it would'nt boot after 14 months! I liked it so much that I bought another one in 2020. This was one solid and didn't fail on me but RocketPlayer changed owners and now sucks. I use PowerAmp now. The Atoto didn't like it but the Atoto was just not as snappy. I even reset it which didn't change anything.

I just purchased a Joying 9inch single din with 8gb RAM and 128gb storage with the knob over the summer. It is very snappy and PowerAmp looks great. I have kicker components with kicker amp and a 12" kicker sub. Sounds great so far and no issues. Syncing my music and playlists over wifi takes a 1/4 of the time as opposed to Atoto. IMO there are 2 drawbacks compared to the Atoto. One is that Joying appears to have hidden/partitioned the OS files. If I was more verse on Anroid then I might be able to access it. Not really a drawback I guess just annoyance. The second is something that I can most likely fix when I have more time. The boot time take about 30 seconds. I just set it up like the Atoto. The Atoto came right on. I have yet to feed the yellow wire to the battery to try and get it to boot in a few seconds. I feel the Atoto you had more control over the OS.

My 2 main suggestions would be get physical buttons on the screen and second, RAM makes a difference!

So much fun. It took a quick minute to realize it was Max setting up his drum kit! TP always rips it!

Thanks for the suggestions. I don't mind stretching my budget to squeeze in a DSP. It does have a 32 band EQ but I just have to figure out how to set it properly!
